Public Health Emergency Preparedness

The Public Health Emergency Preparedness program focuses on how Columbia County is preparing our community to respond to a public health emergency and health/medical issues that may occur during a variety of natural or human-caused disasters.

Being prepared and knowing what to do will make all the difference when seconds count in an emergency.

Here you can find information on how to develop family communication and emergency plans, prepare an emergency supply kit, stay informed during an emergency and get information about the various natural and human caused disasters that could occur in an area.
